Poor Charlies Almanack
Charlie Munger understood that to solve real-life problems, you had to have a readily available collection of tested mental models in your head. Isolated facts alone might make you sound smart but they won’t help you solve problems.
"What is elementary, worldly wisdom? Well, the first rule is that you can't really know anything if you just remember isolated facts and try and bang 'em back. If the facts don't hang together on a latticework of theory, you don't have them in a usable form. You've got to have models in your head. And you've got to array your experience― both vicarious and direct-on this latticework of models."
- Charles T. Munger

❓ Question
Something i’ve been thinking about a lot this past few weeks- who is my my target audience? It always feels so grey and murky and 62 articles in I feel i’m still trying to figure it out. So this weeks question is:
How have you (if you have) identified your target audience to write to here on Substack or elsewhere?
Until next time, Karl (The School of Knowledge).

The old target audience question. Not easy. I would tell you mine if I could pare it down into actual sentences!
